Adopted Tribal Village- Uttar Garagachha

In 2001, during our fundraising cultural programe at Madhusudan Mancha , a group of college lecturers inspired us to take this tribal village( comprises of mostly SANTALS- ORANGS) near south Garia Co-operative for health care and other social Welfare activities. Since then, we have been conducting regular food awareness camps, TB Detection Camp, General Health camp to make them health conscious and the result is a sharp reduction of incidence of diseases.

Helen Keller Deaf School

Mr Kanti Bhushan Gangopadhaya, Minister in charge, Sundarban Development requested Arogya sandhan to take up the job of regular health check up of the hearing impaired students of Helen Keller Deaf School at Mukundrapur. It is school with hostel facilities at Mukundapur for around 100 deaf boys and girls of economically backward community. We have been conducting treatment and health awareness camps regularly since 2002

 

Thellassemic Children

In memory of Debarya (Joy) Dutta, who died in a Air Crash at Patna in 2002, His father Mr.D.Dutta donated a fund with an intention to offer treatment to Thellassemic children. Since then, we have been sponsoring the treatment of two thellassemic children whose parents are from lower income group. We have also helped their spleenectomy and other treatment.
