Publication of Health Awareness Rhyme Book

For effective health awareness Arogya Sandhan felt that the child hood is the prime time to inculcate good health habits and for this there is a great need to include health education in the education system of the country.

Arogya Sandhan involved at least 50 people to compose rhymes on good habits, health, and environment in vernacular language. We published a Health Awareness Rhyme book ‘SUSTHA THAKUN SAHAJEY’ edited by Mr Amitabha Chawdhury, renowned octogenarian poet and each rhyme is very meaningfully correspondingly exhibited by CARTOON drawn by Mr Debashis Deb renowned Cartoonist of ABP and The Telegraph. Awareness Through Medical Camps

Since long, doctors are being treated India as next to god. Thus advice given by the doctor is followed meticulously and people generally do not forget. Considering this important aspect of doctor- patient relationship, Arogya Sandhan Since inception has used medical camps to create awareness. Seminars

Seminar is also is a useful tools to create awareness and increase the level of awareness. Arogya Sandhan has been organizing a good number of seminars since begining.

Magazine ‘ AROGYA’

For the literate people, mass media is the best way to generate awareness. Television, Internet, Newspapers are very effective and doing a great service in spreading message to masses. There is a need to use these effective medium wisely and for the people good.

Arogya Sandhan Since August 2004 has been publishing bi-monthly Health Awareness Magazine for Health Awareness among literate people.
